How do I synchronize the Desktop and Android version of Ciluka?
Use the same username, sync server and your server login for Desktop and Android. By pressing the sync button (desktop and app), the latest version of the learning content is always loaded onto or fetched from the server.
Can I use any email provider I have an account with as a sync server?
A WebDav interface is required for synchronization with the "server of your choice". Check with your provider if they support WebDav and get the link. Mostly it starts with https://webdav.
Why don't you offer a marketplace for sharing learning content (chapters)?
We offer a constantly growing selection of learning content from a wide range of topics for free download. A marketplace would mean that every user could upload their learning content there. The effort to check all content for copyright violations would not be possible in a "tolerable time frame". In addition, users are anonymous (no registration) on Ciluka. By maintaining anonymity, all copyright infringements thus fall back on us.
On which versions runs ciluka
Ciluka runs on all versions from Windows 7 (Service Pack 2) to Windows 11. The Speech.Module.System is only available from Windows 10.
